Hello, I am Nikita Sanders. Being a hairstylist has always been my dream. Pearl Hicks, my mother and grandmothers hair dresser, planted these seeds of beauty for me to cultivate. She was my heroine and I was fascinated by her beauty and confidence. It's Because of her I believed that I could.

As a child, I was also so excited to braid my older brother's hair. He required precision and when he asked me to braid his hair he would take it down and make me do it again and again until I got it right. It is Because of him I learned to never give up and always do my best FIRST!

When my surrogate God mom told all of her friends about me and I started doing their braids I discovered at 14 that I could support myself doing what I loved.

I’ve been in this business since 2008. My clients keep me in this business. The ‘perk up’ or smile I see when we finish is what I look forward to. That little bit of spunk that even the youngest of my clients leave with is WHY I still do this.
